Sheldon Karras is the Chief Executive Officer of Fordham Capital Partners and founded Fordham Financial Services, Inc., the predecessor company to Fordham Capital Partners, in 2001. He began his career in commercial finance with Walter E. Heller and Company and later acquired the Vertiflex Company, a manufacturer of office products and furniture which was sold in 2000. Karras received his BA from the University of Illinois and attended the University of Illinois College of Law.
Michael Karras is the Executive Vice President of Fordham Capital Partners. Karras is a member of the Commercial Finance Association and the Turnaround Management Association. He received a BA in political science from Ithaca College. Prior to joining Fordham Capital Partners, he was a Sales Manager at Bretford until 2005, and a National Sales manager at Vertiflex until 2001.

He was previously Senior Vice President of Commercial Banking for First Bank of Highland Park and Senior Vice President/Regional Market Manager for Fifth Third Bank. He received a BS in marketing from Illinois State University. Prior to joining Fordham, he was a Senior Vice President at First Bank of Highland Park until 2018. Prior to that Stetson was a Regional Market Manager at Middle Market Banking Group until 2016.
Nicholas Van Campen Taylor, known as Van Taylor (R-TX) is a committee member of the 116th Congress U.S. House Committee on Financial Services. He is an American businessman and politician from Plano, Texas. He is the U.S. Representative for Texas’ 3rd congressional district. Taylor is a veteran of the Iraq War and a member of the Republican Party, he represented District 8 in the Texas Senate for a single term from 2015 to 2019. He also previously served in the Texas House of Representatives for District 66 in western Collin County. From January 2002 to December 2018, Taylor worked for Churchill Capital Company, a real estate investment banking and principal investment firm, as a real estate investment banker. He previously worked for McKinsey & Company and Trammell Crow Company. He graduated from Harvard University (BA, MBA).
William Richardson Timmons IV (R-SC) is a committee member of the 116th Congress U.S. House Committee on Financial Services. He is an American attorney, entrepreneur, and politician from South Carolina. He is the United States representative for South Carolina’s 4th congressional district. The district is located in the heart of the Upstate and includes Greenville, Spartanburg, and most of those cities’ suburbs. He served as a state senator in the South Carolina Senate from the 6th district from 2016 to 2018. He is a member of the Republican Party. Timmons graduated from George Washington University (BA), and University of South Carolina (MA, JD).
Denver Lee Riggleman III (R-VA) is a committee member of the 116th Congress U.S. House Committee on Financial Services. He is an American businessman and politician from the Commonwealth of Virginia, currently serving in the United States House of Representatives for Virginia’s 5th congressional district. A former Air Force officer and National Security Agency contractor, Riggleman opened a craft distillery in Virginia in 2014. As a Republican, he ran for his party’s nomination in the 2017 gubernatorial election, but withdrew from the race. Riggleman was elected to the United States House of Representatives in 2018. He graduated from Rowan College, Burlington, Air University, University of Virginia, and Villanova University.
Lance Carter Gooden (R-TX) is a committee member of the 116th Congress U.S. House Committee on Financial Services. He is the U.S. Representative for Texas’s 5th congressional district, having won the general election held on November 6, 2018. Gooden previously served in the Texas House of Representatives for District 4. He served two terms in the state House from 2011 to 2015 before he lost his re-election bid in the 2014 Republican primary election. He was returned to office in 2016 for this third nonconsecutive term in the legislature. He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin (BA, BBA).
