The preceding two decades have witnessed Lady Justice repeatedly eschewing her blindfold to dispense pretend justice to the victims of Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislane Maxwell and also to their cohorts. Numerous procurers and perpetrators who were integral to Epstein and Maxwell’s crimes against children over the course of 25 years have not been indicted, and the charges against Maxwell, which include only one count of child trafficking, are woefully inadequate and a further miscarriage of justice against her victims.
More recently, a report released by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) on May 10, 2021 superimposed an additional miscarriage of justice on the myriad of injustices that have already been inflicted on the victims of Epstein, et al. The FDLE report concluded that a Florida grand jury that didn’t indict Epstein on a single count of child abuse was not guilty of malfeasance.
Henry Alexander Swieca is the founder of Talpion Fund Management. Prior to launching Talpion in 2010, Mr. Swieca co-founded the global alternative investment management firm Management in 1992 with his childhood friend Glenn Dubin. He served as the firm’s chief investment officer from inception to its acquisition by JPMorgan Chase in 2009. Swieca began his career in 1980 at Merrill Lynch & Co. as a registered representative. In 1984, while at E.F. Hutton & Co., he co-founded Dubin & Swieca Capital Management, an alternative investment management firm that preceded Highbridge Capital. Swieca graduated with a MBA at Columbia Business School.
Glenn Russell Dubin retired as an American hedge fund manager and was the Principal of Dubin & Co. LP, a private investment company. He was also the Co-Founder of Highbridge Capital Management, an alternative asset management company based in New York City, which he founded with his childhood friend, Henry Swieca along with Dubin & Swieca, founded in 1984. Dubin began his career in finance as a retail stock broker at E. F. Hutton & Co. in 1978. Dubin graduated from Stony Brook University.
