Barbara G. Novick is a member of BlackRock’s Global Executive Committee. She is the Vice Chairman and co-founder. Novick headed the Global Client Group and oversaw global business development, marketing and client service across equity, fixed income, liquidity, alternative investment and real estate. In 2009, Ms. Novick formed BlackRock’s Global Public Policy Group, and in 2018, she took on oversight of BlackRock’s Investment Stewardship team. Novick serves as Vice Chairman of Cornell University’s Board of Trustees and is a member of the Executive Committee of the Investment Company Institute. Novick earned a BA degree, cum laude, in economics from Cornell University.
