He is an American attorney and politician serving as the U.S. Representative for New York’s 1st congressional district since 2015. The district includes central and eastern Suffolk County, New York, including most of Smithtown, as well as the towns of Brookhaven, Riverhead, Southold, Southampton, East Hampton and Shelter Island, New York.
