William Richardson Timmons IV (R-SC) is a committee member of the 116th Congress U.S. House Committee on Financial Services. He is an American attorney, entrepreneur, and politician from South Carolina. He is the United States representative for South Carolina’s 4th congressional district. The district is located in the heart of the Upstate and includes Greenville, Spartanburg, and most of those cities’ suburbs. He served as a state senator in the South Carolina Senate from the 6th district from 2016 to 2018. He is a member of the Republican Party. Timmons graduated from George Washington University (BA), and University of South Carolina (MA, JD).
