Jennifer Lynn Wexton (D-VA) is a committee member of the 116th Congress U.S. House Committee on Financial Services. She is an American lawyer and politician from the Commonwealth of Virginia who has served as the United States Representative for Virginia’s 10th congressional district since 2019. From 2014 to 2019 Wexton was a member of the Virginia Senate, representing the 33rd district, which includes parts of Fairfax and Loudoun counties. She is a member of the Democratic Party. She graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park (BA), and College of William & Mary (JD). Wexton was a partner in the Laurel Brigade Law Group. She served as a substitute judge in Loudoun County, Virginia, and from 2001 to 2005 as an Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney.
