Mathis Cabiallavetta serves on the Board of Directors at BlackRock, Inc. He is the former Vice Chairman of the Board Swiss Re Ltd. He has served as a member of the board of directors since 2008 and as the Vice Chairman of its board between 2009 and 2015. Cabiallavetta retired as Vice Chairman, Office of the Chief Executive Officer of Marsh & McLennan Companies, Inc. and as Chairman of Marsh & McLennan Companies International in 2008. Prior to joining Marsh & McLennan Companies, Inc. in 1999, Cabiallavetta was Chairman of the board of directors of Union Bank of Switzerland (UBS A.G.). Cabiallavetta received an undergraduate degree from the University of Montreal.
