Jury in drug dealing and money laundering trial retires to deliberate verdict

The jury in a trial involving three Teesside men facing drug dealing and money laundering charges have retired to consider their verdict.

Neil Briggs, 54, Gary Huggins, 35, and Ryan Allborn, 29, are currently on trial at Teesside Crown Court accused of drug offences dating back to 2016.

Briggs, of Tynedale Close, Skelton, is accused of conspiracy to supply a controlled drug of class A between April 2016 and November 2016.

Briggs is also charged with converting criminal property – £106,765 cash -.between April 2015 and August 2018.

Huggins, of Piper Knowle Road, Stockton, is accused of possessing a controlled drug of class A – cocaine – with intent to supply.
